Oh my gosh, I have to tell you about the day I saved two of my neighbors from having to deal with their garbage for another week. Because who wants to deal with extra garbage? No one, I know I don't. Because of June 19, the garbage schedule changed to a day earlier.

But I guess no one saw the announcement because when I went outside to walk the code app, there was not a trash can, trash can outside. Inside, the street worked clear. But luckily I saw two of my neighbors and I told them, hey, trash day is today and they immediately took their recycling bin and the trash can outside. And as soon as they did it and I went inside, I had an existential crisis.

I thought to myself, oh my gosh, what if they don't come today? And the app lied to me and now I'll be known as the neighborhood liar telling people about the wrong garbage day. I better take a screenshot. The screenshot is going to be my proof that I did not intentionally lie about the garbage day change.

I don't know why that was important to me, but I was having these thoughts when I hear the garbage truck come by and pick up the trash. But the hilarious part was that the app only said it was for garbage. But guess what other truck I saw coming back as well? The recycling bin, guess who had to run outside with the recycling bin?

Me, because I believed the app and it didn't mention that I was recycling, they had moved as well. So there I was running with the bin to get it to them because I didn't want to deal with recycling for another week as well. I got it, my neighbors got it, they were smarter than me and they took both out. So my lesson, trust the app when they say they move the day, but assume is for garbage and recycling and take the screenshot as proof, but no one cares.

So just do what you need to do to be happy and have peace and take both out the garbage and the recycling bin.
